Fighter's Mindset

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
